The more I think about it the more I realize that my fixation with scents really doesn't end with men cologne. I have an acute olfactory sense so I smell most things, be they good or bad. My husband often laughs because he thinks that I smell everything and this is probably true. However I would far rather smell aromas that are pleasing to my nose. That is why I am just as sensual about my women's perfume products as I am about my husband's men cologne. I do much the same thing with a new women's perfume product as I do when I buy a bottle of men cologne for my man. I take my time to fully investigate the top, middle and base notes of my women's perfume and if it’s a product that happens to suit me I thoroughly enjoy every phase of the exploration. To be honest I even find exploring those women's perfume products that don’t suit me so much very interesting. I've discovered some curious things. For instance I’ve learned that I never suit the fragrance note gardenia unless it is in a women's perfume product that also contains sandalwood.

I Love To Explore Men Cologne On My Man

A couple of my girlfriends find it a little strange that I actually enjoy shopping online for men cologne products to give to my husband. The thing is that they know I am actually making these men cologne purchases for myself even though I won’t be the one wearing them. Some men cologne fragrances smell so good on my husband that they drive me about half nuts. Other men cologne products have a more interesting and unusual smell with multiple dimensions.
I actually like to smell my husband at least three times whenever he tries a new men cologne product. I smell him just after he puts a men cologne product on in order to explore the top notes. I smell my husband a second time about ten minutes later in order to discover the middle notes of the fragrance. After another ten minutes I smell my husband again so I can check out the base notes.
Now I’ve got to be honest here and admit that the part of men cologne I like best is almost always the base notes. The base notes are very often raw, sexy and woody-an almost animal smell that mixes with the pheromones of the man who is wearing it. If loving to explore men cologne products means I have a fixation, so be it. The way I see things it is worth taking the time out to be sensual in life in order to derive as much pleasure from living it as possible.

I recall the days that led up to my birthday party, which was this past Friday, as people called me and emailed me asking me what I wanted to get as gifts. I told them all the same thing: I love designer men cologne; and I really can’t get enough of it if you ask me. So it did not really come as any surprise to me whatsoever that there were tons of gifts that were comprised of just this: the brands of designer men cologne that I love the most. I think my wife played a bit of a secretive hand in my friends knowing what brands of designer men cologne to get for me, because there is no way that they would have all known off the bat exactly what I wanted as far as name brands of designer men cologne go. You don’t and won’t hear me complaining in the least bit however, my dear readers. Because now my vanity is literally stockpiled with a wide array of my favorite designer men colognes…and I couldn’t be any happier!

I have really been doing some serious online shopping as of late my dear readers, and for all sorts of different things. In fact, there are so many different gifts that I have been looking to buy over the past month that I have actually had to make a list of them all so I wouldn’t forget to get them all at the right time. My brother – the youngest one in my family – is set to be wed this May. The other day as I was spraying on one of my favorite women's perfume products I got thinking about the impact that perfumes and colognes can have on the opposite gender. I remembered a women's perfume product I once wore having a rather profound impact on my ex-boyfriend Konstantinos. I know that I am one of those guys that really likes to spoil his wife rotten, but being wooed into the strong binds of love has me doing this all of the time. Thankfully for me, there are tons of great online stores that have deals galore on the designer women's perfume that my wife loves, so sometimes I can spoil her by surprising her with a bottle of designer women's perfume and not have to really worry about breaking the bank, so to speak. When in a bind to buy a gift for a female friend there is a couple universal gifts the opposite sex will always enjoy. The first is any kind of gift certificate to a spa. The second is a romantic night out to a favorite eatery. The third applies only if they are running low on women's perfume but if they are then a perfume gift set will always create a smile on their face after unwrapping. Figuring out if a girl needs more of a favorite scent can be very easy but sometimes tough.

In the case of my girlfriend, I could simply go use her bathroom and check to see if her women's perfume bottle was running on empty. If so I’d write a note to myself about the fragrance brand name and later go online to a discount perfume retailer. If it is a friend or someone a person would like to call a girlfriend, figuring out if a perfume gift set is called for may take the eyes of a friend or roommate. My wife loves wearing the many different designer women's perfumes that she currently has in her ever growing collection. I say ever growing collection because about one time per month she will hop online and find some incredible deals on the designer women's perfumes that she wants to buy. I have noticed over the years – and not that I am complaining in the least bit here – that her favorite designer women's perfumes happen to be those that are scented to smell like wildflowers. I have to say – and perhaps my opinion here is biased as well because of my wife’s adoration for these designer women's perfumes – that I am fond of flower scented designer women's perfumes as well. Quite often I find her searching online for newer fragrances that are modeled after flowers, perfumes that she does not yet own. I would not be being honest with you if I didn’t get a bit curious myself, because she smells so attractive and stunning whenever she is wearing a splash of her favorite flower scented designer women's perfumes!

The High of Finding Discount Perfume or Cologne

We have all felt that feeling of supreme victory when bartering a price on what could be a new car, stereo system or garage sale treasure. At the moment in negotiating when you know the seller is ready to come down in a price that you would have ended up paying if they stayed stern is near addictive. I have a complete understanding for why people become salesmen. They are chasing this feeling of out negotiating someone else while still creating a pleasant atmosphere. It is why I went into sales right out of college.

I got this same feeling a month ago when looking for new men cologne. There is no room for negotiating perfumes and colognes price unless buying from one of those annoying kids with rip off bottles cruising mall parking lots. I may have not negotiated the men cologne price but after price comparing online found a steal of a deal within a now favorite discount perfume and cologne retailer. After clicking buy that same high of saving money came over me. Who wouldn’t want to save money especially when not even leaving the computer chair.

He Didn't Forget the Women's Perfume After All

I was thinking a few days ago that I may love this time of the year more than I love Christmas. About a week ago, my husband and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. He usually gives me a bottle of the latest women's perfume, but this year we went out for dinner at a lovely restaurant. He commented that he knew the tradition was to give me the women's perfume, but that this year he'd failed to get it for me. I'll admit that I was a little disappointed in the fact that he didn't have the bottle of women's perfume for me. After all it is a tradition that we started ten years ago on our first anniversary, and I wondered if maybe the tradition of the women's perfume wasn't as important to him anymore, but I said nothing. Instead I smiled and told him it was ok, that there would be other anniversaries.

Two days after our anniversary I received a package in the mail. I knew I hadn't ordered anything, but my name was on the package so I decided to open it. In his youth my father was a very handsome man. Now that he is in his early sixties I do not think that my dad is enjoying the aging process. He tells himself he is an old guy now so there is no point in making that much of an effort. He even went through a phase where he stopped wearing men cologne because he thought there was no point trying to impress anyone.
During the past year or so I have been buying my dad bottles of men cologne in order to encourage him to wear it and build his confidence back up. You see I do not believe that anybody ever really gets too old to do anything. I feel that the time to stop living life to the maximum is when we are dead. Until then we have a responsibility to live as full a life as possible regardless of age, race or gender. To me living a full life includes taking the time to get dressed and groomed each day and that’s why I won’t allow my dad to stop wearing men cologne.
Actually my father’s birthday is just around the corner. He has asked me to get him a few Blu-Ray movies, which I have already done. I have been thinking about the last time I actually bought perfumes and colognes at a bricks and mortar department store. I honestly can't remember buying perfumes and colognes in an ordinary department store since 2004, which is six years ago now. I bought my mother a bottle of women's perfume for Christmas when I was living in Athens, Greece. I think that was the last time I bought perfumes and colognes inside a store.
Ever since then I have been buying perfumes and colognes online and there are several good reasons why I choose to shop for them via the web. First of all I save money because I buy perfumes and colognes online. You see I am very careful to only buy discount perfumes and colognes instead of paying the full retail price for them. Secondly I find that the variety of perfumes and colognes online is better. Sometimes it is even possible to find perfumes and colognes that cannot be found in ordinary department stores. I also like the fact that when I shop for perfumes and colognes online I can do it at home without having to go anywhere. What I love most about buying perfumes and colognes online is that instead of listening to some woman who doesn’t know me tell me what I should buy I can read product descriptions and reviews to make up my own mind.

If you were to see the craziness that comprises how my wife and I get ready for a night out on the town together, it would probably make you chuckle just a little bit. Indeed, there we are, in our bedroom, our clothing laid out, some perfumes and colognes that we want on the vanity, getting our hair ready and rushing to our dinner reservation. It is not always this hectic, but sometimes we can be running late and it is just funny to think back upon. The one thing that always marks the finality of our preparation is when we finally spray on that splash of necessary and decadent perfumes and colognes and then I know we are ready to hit the town for the night. I love the way that perfumes and colognes smell, and if you ask me, I would not consider myself to be fully dressed and ready to go out anywhere without my perfumes and colognes. Perhaps that sounds silly, but to me and my wife, perfumes and colognes are like that scented accessory that completes our outfits!

Giving Lists Of The Women's Perfume Products I Want

I have just read another contributor's post. In it she says that she has asked her husband and mother not to buy her women's perfume anymore. I can certainly understand why she thinks in this way. If someone buys me a women's perfume that I do not like then one of two things will happen. I will either give the perfume away or it will gather dust somewhere in my house. I have not, however, asked anybody to avoid buying women's perfume for me. Instead I am very open about which women's perfume products I like. I have been known to make lists and hand them out. I realize that this may seem very brazen and forward of me and it probably is. However I know what I like when it comes to women's perfume. I am also very much aware of which fragrance notes suit me and which do not. I would rather give people lists of the women's perfume products I want than risk hurting their feelings by requesting that they avoid buying it for me.

I Told My Husband Not To Buy Me Women's Perfume Anymore!

I am not trying to be mean to him, but I am very picky when it comes to women's perfume. I always have been. I even had to find a delicate way to tell my mother not to buy me women's perfume anymore. She always liked to buy those perfumes that were in the checkout aisle. You know, those ones that only cost a few dollars. Well, I guess I have more expensive tastes, because I never liked the smell of the women's perfume she would buy me.

My husband means well. He really does. I think he spends a lot of time trying to pick out the right women's perfume for me. Bless his heart. Sometimes it is alright, but other times not so good. So, I had to tell him not to buy me any women's perfume, I will do it. This way he can concentrate on buying me other gifts like digital cameras and a new car! He said he was actually relieved.

The only problem with buying women's perfume around where I live is that there is not a great selection. The stores here are very limited in what they sell and do not like to stock up on different, and even newer, items. To combat this problem, I have been going online to pick up the perfumes that I like. One of those perfumes is Bill Blass New by Bill Blass Women Eau De Parfum Spray 2.7 oz. For years I have been using this women's perfume. The smell is very fragrant, but not too overpowering and mixes well with my body chemistry. I don't want people to smell me coming a mile before I get there! I like a soft fragrance, but one that has boldness and freshness.

Men Cologne for a Long Motorcycle Ride

After the rain clouds disappeared for a sunny weekend, we all wanted to get outside after being coped up for five days. Over the weekend, I was staying with a couple friends down south near the Southern California coast. Each ride. I had a motorcycle for many years and then had to sell it for the cash. I have since been saving for another but am not quite there yet. You can imagine the smile on my face when one of the guys lent his bike to me. Two of us hit the sunny streets, cruised the beach and blasted down the freeway. After a couple hours riding I don’t imagine I smelled good. It was a mixture of gas, open air and sweat.

Lane splitting is a quick way to break a sweat especially when the gap in between cars gets small. Luckily back at their place, a couple bottles of men cologne sat on the counter. Perfumes and colognes are the quickest way to get fresh without taking a shower. We had dinner reservations to watch a basketball game so the men cologne squirts helped save the nostrils of the people sitting next to me.
