Yea, it is a ridiculous amount of aloe vera but I knew between my roommates and friends, we would got threw the majority of it by the end of summer. A day at the beach, lying on the sun patio, beach volleyball or hiking is best served with aloe afterwards. I went almost the entire summer without an annoying sun burn. The summer down in this part of the country hasn’t let up yet. As far as I know aloe gel has no shelf life. I’ve had this one gallon bottle for months and it works like it did when I cracked the seal. My roommate loves surfing. He tries to get out in the waves every weekend. He felt bad about using so much of my aloe and insisted payment. I never told him what I bought the entire bottle for but he was adamant about giving me some money. That made the purchase even better. I ended up giving him the cash back in exchange for surfing lessons. He’s done it for a few years and has an extra long board he learned on. I brought the aloe and he brought the surf skills. Surfing is fun but man does it take practice; waves do not have any sympathy for a new surfer.
