Perfume Gift Set Made Sense for Mother's Day |

Another Mother's Day is behind us and I'm happy about how it turned out. In past years I've kept my gifts somewhat inexpensive. With a little bit more cash in my pocket this year, I bought her a perfume gift set and attached a sentimental card. My mom works a pretty stressful social worker career. She has used the word, “draining,” a lot to describe it. It is one of those careers that is rewarding not by the paycheck but by how many people she touches. She knew that going into it. Doing away with material things to help others really highlights her character. Not many people, especially when young with big dreams can say, “I don’t need the money, I’d rather make a difference by helping people every day.” It is selfless and I wish I could buy her much more then I can. Someday though.
This year I went to The Last Boutique at http://www.thelastboutique.com/ in search of a perfume gift set. My mom’s line of work is not glamorous so I wanted to get her a gift that makes her feel that way when outside the walls of work. A perfume gift set from her favorite brand seemed like a great route to take. The Diamonds & Rubies by Elizabeth Taylor Women Eau De Toilette Spray + 3.3 oz Body Lotion -- Gift Set - 3.3 oz caught my attention early on in my women's perfume search. Mom loves this brand so I had to get it. I could of saved my money and drawn a picture as if I was in first grade and she would've said it is the best present a mom could ask for.
I’m no artist and instead used my creative juices to write a heartfelt card sent with the perfume gift set. She got teary eyed over the phone when I called to make sure the package arrived. The perfume gift set costed less then I thought it was going to. Not often do I find something that I think costs X but actually costs less. That is online shopping though. Mother’s Day is really a time to give back to mom for all those times she gave to us. In my case, I could not have asked for any more. She always got us what we hoped for some way or another. There is a lot to be learned from a person of this caliber. I’m just so lucky to call her mom. She is going to use the women's perfume this weekend for a dinner date with her friends.
