Imagine my surprise this past weekend when I arrived at the cottage for a girl’s weekend with my best friends and I found a perfume gift set on my bed with a little note from my husband. I knew that my husband had an idea of where we were going, but he hadn’t asked many questions about our girls trip, but apparently he’d not only called one of my best friend for information, but he’d also ordered a perfume gift set online and had it delivered somehow to our cottage. He attached a note that wished me a great weekend with my friends and to tell me that he loved me and that he’d be there with me in spirit. It was a sweet note, and it was also a perfume gift set of my favorite perfume, which I was actually almost out of. As soon as I saw that it was from him, I picked up my phone and gave him a quick call to thank him for the perfume gift set. I asked him how he pulled it off, but that’s one of those things that I still can’t get out of him. He said a guy’s got to have his secrets. I guess he’s right.
