I was so happy when the perfume gift set that I’d ordered mom arrived yesterday so that I can give it to her today while we’re at hers and dads for Father’s Day. Mom has babysitted for me several times over the last month when my usual babysitter quit to backpack through Europe before starting college in the fall, and that has meant her driving a half hour each way several times a week. I’ve tried to pay her but she wouldn’t allow me to do that, so when I was online looking for some perfume for myself, I came across a perfume gift set of her signature scent and decided to order it for her. Since I don’t wear the same perfume I knew she wouldn’t be able to refuse the perfume gift set. I know she doesn’t expect payment for doing things for me and helping me out, but the fact of the matter remains that I really appreciate her sacrifices and for being there for me. I know she’ll love the perfume and I’m looking forward to spending the day with my family and the great BBQ that my husband and dad are preparing.
