I was so surprised yesterday evening to find that the second half of our July 4th celebration turned in to a birthday party for me. My birthday is still a week away so when everyone gathered around me and my best friend brought out a cake, I didn’t know what to say. I was completely caught off guard, but it was a wonderful surprise. I received many great gifts and gift cards, but probably my favorite was a perfume gift set that my best friend gave me.
Several months ago we were at the mall and someone gave me a sample of perfume to try. I loved it, but I knew that the price for the perfume was outrageous so I never bought any. My best friend started looking online for it and found it in a perfume gift set. She knew that as much as I loved the perfume, that I’d love having a perfume gift set even more, so she ordered it for me. In addition to the perfume gift set, she also tucked a gift card in the package for my favorite coffee shop. I don’t think the day could have been any better.
