This morning before I sent my son off to school for his first day, I splashed a little of his dads men cologne on him and he smiled. He is 15 going on 30 and I knew when he asked me if he looked all right, that he was much more nervous about his first day than he wanted me to know. 15 is a difficult age and I remember myself how important those first impressions are, especially at a new school. I’d recently ordered my husband the men cologne online for a great price and knew that it was something that most of the kids may recognize, so I figured a splash would help boost his confidence a little. In fact, after he left this morning, I wondered why I hadn’t ordered him a bottle of the men cologne of his own, and will probably do that sometime today. I did suggest that he leave his new smart phone at home today so that he could see what the policies are at the school and I’m sorry that I did. I’d love to know how his day is going so far.
