There are some gifts for women that always work...or at least they usually work the vast majority of time.  One is jewelry, and the other is women's perfume.  To buy that special gift for a woman, you must know the female you are buying for; you must know her tastes and style.  If you allow yourself to really get mentally close to the lady, the gift you select can become the one she values most.  In the past, I have received many perfume gift sets; but, the only ones that stand out in my mind are the ones I really loved wearing. 

How did the men who gave a gift set know what I liked?  If they cared enough to inquire about what I was wearing, and if they remembered, they made a great impression.  Often men feel inadequate about selecting perfume or jewelry for a woman unless the relationship is close.  To tell the truth, men should be weary when choosing those items unless they are comfortable with themselves, and comfortable with their knowledge of the woman.

For me, I found a wonderful discount internet shop called The Last Boutique located at http://thelastboutique.com.  This shop has all of the perfumes I am known to wear.  My personal favorite is L'air Du Temps by Nina Ricci.  Years ago, I found this fragrance, and I fell in love with the smell.  I took this fragrance and I decided to "own" it.  It was my signature smell...and I still wear it today.  How many monumental memories I associate with that smell...and how many dates associate that smell with me.  I even love the bottle it comes in!

Having a personal best perfume is an important part of a woman's personality.  I have tried to teach this love to my girls, and I believe they have established their personal smells through their choice of fragrance.  When they were young, their beauty was secondary to their outgoing and friendly personalities.  Of course, I am Mom, and I am prejudice where they are concerned...as most Moms are about their children. 

Teaching the girls faith and values was always first in their upbringing; but, a little appreciation of cleanliness and a great smell didn't hurt their outlook on life.  Also, finding a great internet store always helped our family whenever we needed to restock on most products....and gifts.
