Three Squirt Rule for Perfumes and Colognes |

Everyone knows not to spray more then three squirts of perfumes and colognes before heading out but sometimes we forget. Yesterday, on the way to the grocery store, I left my apartment and went down the hallway leading to the stairs and parking garage. As soon as I closed my door, the scent of women's perfume hit my nostrils. It didn’t smell bad. Didn’t smell great but wasn’t like picking up the scent of a garbage can. As I walked down the hall, the scent stayed on my nose hairs. It got stronger and stronger as I got closer.
I had the feeling of being inside of some detective story following the scent of a scarlet clad client. Don’t ask me why. Probably have been watching too much Bored to Death on HBO. Anyway, when I rounded the corner into the parking garage I saw my neighbor driving past after just backing out of her spot. It had to have been her women's perfume. If I smelled it all the way to my car, she had to have been bathing in the stuff. I can imagine it smelled very strong in her car. Reminded me of the three squirt rule for perfumes and colognes. Always a good rule to follow.
